Presently it would appear our focus for the blagging is on the
technology products themselves. I think Rob has some good ideas around
sponsorship of devices; however I would hate for us to go down the same
route as the broader net and have corporate\advertising 'pop-ups' every
time someone accesses a node. This may be a simple and misleading
interpretation of Robs suggestion.
We have yet to establish an identity, that's if we want one of course.
But being as it is we are still pursuing club registration, we are going
to need one.
I think focusing on the build and gaming event is the best 1st step.
Can we blag printed T-Shirts with the club name on the front and 'tour
date' on the back (in the vain of a band T-shirt?). We will need
posters, flyers, something on HebWeb..... Could we get on local or even
national radio?????? Does anyone know of anybody we can hook up with to
get involved in this years Arts Festival? We could have a stall at the
music festival or do some co-op work with a local arts group perhaps???
All this would be great if only we settled on a strong identity 1st. We
desperately need branding. Unfortunately I have yet to see the flyer,
so I am not yet clear where we are heading with this.

Yes
Just got back from France, had no internet access and going through my
em=
ails
in reverse order
Have been wanting people to tell me what they want. The general line of
the blag is that we will get superb local and regional publicity for a
pr=
oduct
if they either lend us things or give us them.
