Rob,
In response I have had a quick play. I have done no more that 'spice'
up your design with a little colour and a play with typography. I think
the core design should remain intact (this is agreed), but there is
always room for artistic licence and we should all look at exploiting
the design for as many purposes as we can. We will need to if we are to
promote the many future events I'm sure we will have (ever the
optimist).
I rattled this off following receipt of your email today - I thought I
had better contribute! I shall carry on when more time permits. It
keeps me busy.
Cheers
PS strange problems when exporting from flash to .swf, .gif, .jpg.
Variations in quality degradation and the .swf file looses a chunk of
text!

Subject: [hb_wireless] build 'n game
Hello,
Through default more than anything, the club is to be called
lilyhopping.net
There is a domain www.lilyhopping.net to some donated space.
Simon is having a play with logos perhaps based on the flyer I mocked
up ealier.
I am sorting out a CD to boot from for the build 'n game. Intel and
hopefully powerPC. Ideas of games for really crappy machines would be
a help. Team tetris, chess, mud?
I've got streaming software for my iBook so could demonstrate
tv/radio over wireless at the build 'n game. If my poor ickle machine
is up to the codec I could borrow a camera and do live streaming.
Talking of crappy machines, I can get some low end pentiums from work
to give away.
I thought a couple of large laminated boards with lots of info would
be good for the venue. Anybody up for design & content?
Promotion/publicity?
Wireless cards? Need some sort of donation/cash/sale or return for
wireless cards - any input *please*. Know any traders that do
computer fairs that might come along?
Venues confirmed for 19th July? - Mark?
Robert
