I've been asked to taint the list archive, and I have complied - to remove
"private" information, which is actually freely available on the webpages
of the complainant and possibly other places - for christ sake the
information was in his sig !
I've done it, but I am definately not happy.
Generally, can members of the list please refrain from over quoting - and
this includes quoting sigs of people either on or off the list etc.
For those possibly concerned about the spam aspects of the list archive,
email addresses are encoded so that the @ of the email address is encoded
as a HTML character encoding rather than the raw email address being
stored.
Sigh.
