Just wanted to check a few things about the event on
saturday.
First of all did a press release get sent to the
Hebden Bridge Times? Maybe this should then also be
sent to the Hebden Bridge Website and other local
papers - Evening courier, Todmorden Times.
Is anybody making a powerpoint presentation to be
shown to visitors? Maybe this is something that could
be shown to people as they come in so we dont have to
keep saying the same things to everybody who comes in
and asks what this thing is all about.
Ive got a web broadcasting system set up on my laptop
now, so we should be able to get that running on
saturday - any requests for music to be playe over it?
Anybody else want to DJ or do a
lecture/presentation/ramble?
At the meeting on Monday we suggested the idea of
getting some projectors at both locations and then
maybe displaying live video streaming on it from
either location - Have we got two projectors that we
can use?
Also have we got any network games? What about a movie
trailor to play over the network insead of the clog
video :)
Should we also make some leaflets or handouts to give
to people who are interested?
Lets keep posting on the mailing list over the next
few days so we all know whats going on and what needs
organising.
