Description: Discussion to finalise plans for the
wireless event on the 19th July. Will also be setting
up a small wireless network to check some things out.
Things have been a bit dead in this list for a while,
so i hope that everybody is still getting all the
messages and reading them :)
As im sure you all know the wireless event is set to
take place on Satuday the 19th July at the Java Lounge
on Market Street.
Since its only about a week ago rob, simon and me were
discussing in IRC about the days event and what we can
show to people to gain their interests. We came up
with a few - which were posted in my last message.
Just to make sure these suggestions are possible and
as a chance for us to straighten out any issues that
we may have, we have organised a small meeting for
monday night.
The meeting will take place at the usual spot in the
White Lion Pub at 7pm on Monday 14th July.
I hope everybody can make it so we can sort things out
and get ourselfs organised for the event on the 19th.
If anybody has laptops with wireless network cards -
then please bring them so we can make a little network
and check out some things.
So far me and Rob will be bringing laptops - so we
will definately be making (from what i know) the first
connection in the clubs history :)
