Outbuildings are generally single shell, thin at that - shouldn't be a
problem blasting your way through them - though I'd be more inclined I
think as it's such a small area to just set up a high omni for the whole
location.

If it really does need a second hop, then surely the edge of the
outbuildings would be easier, and will have power.
When are you doing some form of site survey ?
